1. DATA WE COLLECT
Stashly stores the following data locally on your device:
- URLs and titles of pages you save
- Tags you create
- Reading preferences

2. DATA STORAGE
All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. 
We do NOT collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers.

3. DATA SHARING
We do NOT share, sell, or transmit your data to any third parties.
Your reading list stays on your device.

4. OPTIONAL CLOUD SYNC
If you choose to enable Firebase sync (optional feature), your data 
is stored in Firebase under your anonymous user ID. This data is:
- Encrypted in transit
- Only accessible by you
- Never shared with third parties

5. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED
- "storage": To save your articles locally
- "activeTab": To read current page title/URL when you click Save
- "tabs": To open saved articles in new tabs
